Synopsis
Two women leave a hotel in Miami and head toward the beach, moving through a sunlit landscape of pools, palm trees, and outdoor showers. Their carefree journey is intercut with shots of U-Jean performing and with an abstract control-room setting filled with screens. The monitors track locations from the video, display the song's progression, and zoom in on Earth before landing on the word "Found." The result is a glossy summer fantasy that links a chance encounter with the song's romantic message.
Factoids & Trivia
- The video functions as a continuation of the visual world established in R.I.O.'s "Party Shaker." It returns to Miami and again follows women traveling from a hotel toward the beach.
- Rather than bringing back "Party Shaker"'s central female character, the video uses two different women as its on-screen leads.
- The production leans heavily on visual effects, including the monitor-filled room, animated tracking displays, and the zoom from a view of Earth to the word "Found."
- U-Jean is incorporated into the beachwear itself: his image appears printed on items of clothing worn by the women.
- The single was released on July 4, 2014. Its video edit runs for about three minutes and 19 seconds, while the official video uploads are generally around three and a half minutes long.
- "One In A Million" was a charting release for R.I.O. in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, reaching No. 51, No. 62, and No. 62, respectively.
