Synopsis

Blink-182 turn arrested adolescence into a fast-moving visual gag. Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker sprint through Los Angeles in apparent nudity, interrupting everyday scenes, television programs and commercials while drawing shocked reactions from everyone around them. Their run is repeatedly censored for comic effect, and the band performs against a stark white background between interruptions. The chaos finally pauses when they encounter Janine Lindemulder, the model from the cover of *Enema of the State*.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was filmed on Los Angeles' Third Street shortly after the band completed *Enema of the State*. Travis Barker later recalled that the shoot lasted approximately 15 hours.

• The band wore flesh-colored Speedos for many of the outdoor shots, particularly when children were nearby. Barker said the most revealing footage consisted of genuine nude scenes, while much of the apparent nudity was created with the costumes and editing.

• This was Blink-182's first single and major music video to feature Travis Barker, who had recently replaced Scott Raynor.

• Janine Lindemulder appears in the video after featuring on the cover of *Enema of the State*. Her presence links the clip to the album's provocative, deliberately juvenile visual identity.

• The song was originally developed under the title "Peter Pan Complex." The label considered the reference too obscure and pushed the band toward "What's My Age Again?"
