Synopsis

Lamb of God's "As the Palaces Burn" is a compact, performance-driven video built around the band's punishing live energy. Randy Blythe delivers the lyrics with an intense, confrontational presence while the guitarists, bassist, and drummer drive through the song in a dark, aggressively edited setting. The imagery favors atmosphere and impact over a traditional narrative, matching the track's bleak political tone and compressed running time. The result is a straightforward early-2000s metal clip that presents Lamb of God as a volatile, tightly coordinated live band.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was filmed in Los Angeles from February 5 through February 7, 2004.
