Inside the towering headquarters of Feel Good Inc., 2-D is trapped in a joyless world of screens, noise, and passive spectators. He looks toward Noodle's floating windmill island, a bright symbol of freedom drifting beyond the corporation's reach. As helicopters patrol the island, De La Soul's giant televised images taunt the band and push 2-D toward a manic breakdown. His brief resistance collapses, and the video ends by returning him to the same numb state, repeating "feel good" as if trying to convince himself.

City's breaking down on a camel's back. They just have to go 'cos they dont hold back So all you fill the streets it's appealing to see You wont get out the county, 'cos you're bad and free You've got a new horizon It's ephemeral style. A melancholy town where we never smile. And all I wanna hear is the message beep. My dreams, they've got to kiss, because I dont get sleep, no.. Windmill, Windmill for the land. Learn forever hand in hand Take it all in on your stride It is sticking, falling down ... |
