• The video was shot in London on July 10, 1979, during the same session as XTC's video for "Life Begins at the Hop."

• "Making Plans for Nigel" was written by bassist Colin Moulding. Its lyrics are framed from the perspective of overbearing parents who believe they know what is best for their son.
