Synopsis

Mylene Farmer moves through a surreal landscape where the boundaries between childhood fantasy and adult reality keep dissolving. In a stark desert, she encounters a red-haired girl, groups of dancers, a shimmering camel, elderly sunbathers, suited men, and fragments of strange staged worlds. White and black imagery alternate as the dreamlike procession grows increasingly uncanny. The visual journey ends with Lisa dressed in white, standing at the edge of a cliff and stepping into the unknown.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was filmed in Israel between May 10 and 12, 2011. The exterior scenes were shot near the Dead Sea and in the Makhtesh Ramon desert, while the studio material was filmed in Tel Aviv.

• Conditions in the desert were extreme, with temperatures reportedly reaching 47 degrees Celsius at 2 p.m.

• Lonely Lisa had already existed in Farmer's creative world before this song. The character appeared in the 2002 video for "C'est une belle journee," later featured in her book *Lisa-Loup et le conteur*, and inspired the Lonely Lisa website launched in 2008.

• Jean Paul Gaultier created both of Farmer's costumes. The black outfit came from his Spring/Summer 2011 haute couture collection.

• The unusual armchair seen in the video was designed by Samuel David Ben-Shalom and produced by Talents Design. It was known as the "Mad Cow Armchair."

• Critics and fan analyses have linked the video's desert imagery and surreal atmosphere to David Lynch's *Dune*. The falling black feathers and stark alternation between light and darkness have also prompted comparisons with Darren Aronofsky's *Black Swan*.

• The video premiered online through Universal Music on June 1, 2011, followed by its first television broadcasts on June 3.
