Synopsis

A surreal, collage-like film presents SOFIA RETA as an unstable, deliberately elusive presence rather than a conventional performer. Sparse, distorted sound accompanies disconnected images: a finger moving through water in a measuring cup, footage recalling the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the careful making of a knife, and a striking figure applying makeup. Instead of following a linear story, the video moves through tactile, unsettling fragments that question identity, gender, media imagery, and the boundary between music video, manifesto, and experimental short film.
