Synopsis

There, Joe arrives at a decadent nightclub ruled by Tommy Lee's Prince of Darkness, who tempts him with reckless partying and a sinister tattoo. Meanwhile, Patrick Stump is processed in jail, while Pete Wentz and Andy Hurley are questioned by police before meeting an undercover ally. She reveals the enemy's plans and supplies them with bizarre musical weapons for their next move.
Factoids & Trivia
- "Death Valley" is the eighth installment of Fall Out Boy's 11-part video series, *The Young Blood Chronicles*, which gives every track on *Save Rock and Roll* a connected visual chapter.
- Tommy Lee appears as the Prince of Darkness. The Mötley Crüe drummer's casting gives the Hell nightclub sequence an appropriately hard-rock presence.
- The video continues the series' use of music-themed weapons. Pete receives a sword made from a bass neck, while Andy is given a crossbow built around a snare drum.
- The chapter was released online on December 24, 2013, making its Christmas arrival a deliberately dark contrast to the holiday season.
- The video's production company was M/A/D Pictures. Production credits also list Shamikah Martinez as producer, with Adam Donald handling cinematography and editing.
- The storyline was designed to function as part of a longer film rather than as a standalone clip. The completed *Young Blood Chronicles* later played as a roughly 50-minute feature on Palladia in May 2014.
