Synopsis

Mary Lou and Mary Sue, two sisters, spend a languid summer at their family's country house, filling their days with poolside relaxation and endless cocktails. When the younger sister falls for the older sister's summer lover, their idyllic world ends in a tragic incident. Decades later, the women remain trapped in a supernatural time loop, repeatedly reliving that fateful summer night and appearing to the man they once loved as bittersweet, restless ghosts.

• "T W O" is a fashion film created for ANNE GORKE's Spring/Summer 2013 collection, "Orangerie." It was presented as an art project rather than a conventional advertising film.

• The film was shown in Berlin in April 2013 as part of a Designer Scouts and SKYY Vodka event.

• The cast includes Sandra Huller, Emily Cox and Paul Wolff-Plottegg.

• The story was developed by Anne Gorke and Michael Venus. Its gothic premise places the collection in a world of faded glamour, summer leisure and supernatural repetition.

• The soundtrack combines two original music sections: one written by Sebastian Damerius and performed by Yoamivice featuring Sandra Huller, and another written and performed by Johannes Lehniger.

• The "Orangerie" collection was built around clean, architectural shapes and ecological materials including silk, cotton and leather. Its color palette and styling were influenced by the golden light of late-summer afternoons.
