Synopsis

A young couple turn their apartment into a battleground, tearing through rooms and destroying furniture as their relationship spirals into violent frustration. The increasingly chaotic behavior matches the song's abrasive energy, with flashes of Suede performing woven into the narrative. Rather than presenting a conventional band performance, the video focuses on the destructive chemistry between its two central characters, creating a tense portrait of domestic conflict, excess, and emotional collapse.

Factoids & Trivia

  • The couple are played by actors Max Beesley and Laura Fraser.
  • "Can't Get Enough" was released on November 8, 1999, as the fourth and final single from Suede's album *Head Music*.
  • The track was produced by Steve Osborne, making it the only song on *Head Music* not produced by Suede with Michael Ade.
  • The single reached No. 23 on the UK Singles Chart.
  • An Australian-only version used tour footage and live-performance material instead of the apartment-based narrative. It was made by Suede drummer Simon Gilbert.
  • Both versions were included among the video material associated with the *Head Music* reissue.
