Synopsis

The video frames the Supersuckers in a deliberately chaotic, cinematic world of secret messages, coded phone calls, surveillance equipment and suspicious characters. The band performs amid the confusion as the story shifts between shadowy espionage imagery and lurid party scenes. Its darkly comic atmosphere eventually gives way to a memorable appearance by Linda Blair as the Devil, turning the clip's rough punk energy and rebellious attitude into a gleefully satanic spectacle.

• The video was made to promote "Born With A Tail," the lead single from the Supersuckers' 1995 album *The Sacrilicious Sounds of the Supersuckers*. Sub Pop issued the single in July 1995.

• Linda Blair appears as the Devil. Her association with *The Exorcist* made the casting an especially pointed joke for a band whose image openly played with Satanic and outlaw-rock imagery.

• Billboard described the clip as the most expensive music video Sub Pop had made up to that point.
