Synopsis

A split-screen follows two people moving through the same city night without ever quite meeting. On one side, a woman finishes closing a cafe and tries to reach Dan Wilson. On the other, Semisonic perform in a rehearsal space, where Wilson misses her call. They leave separately and head toward the same club, arriving just moments apart. Their paths repeatedly cross, but timing keeps them separated. The video ends with Wilson rejoining the band, still unaware of how close they came.
