Synopsis
Filmed in stark black and white, the video follows two couples moving through Newcastle and the surrounding area. Beneath the everyday scenes of streets, stations, nightlife, and dancing, one woman is secretly involved with the other woman's partner. The Pet Shop Boys appear as detached observers, watching the romantic deception unfold from the background. The detached presentation mirrors the song's cool account of mutual infidelity, denial, and the moment when both partners realize they have been deceiving each other.
