Synopsis

Ghostface Killah revisits his childhood in Staten Island's Stapleton housing projects, presenting a dramatized portrait of poverty, family hardship, and his mother's resilience. A young boy stands in for Ghostface as he grows up in a crowded three-bedroom apartment, shares a bed with siblings, goes without adequate food, and watches his father leave. These scenes are intercut with adult Ghostface performing in a desolate street beside a piano and choir, turning a personal account of struggle into a tribute to his mother.
