Synopsis

Esthero appears as an otherworldly woman confined to a transparent enclosure on a busy Toronto street, separated from the world outside. A man she finds attractive regularly visits, and she imagines joining him in ordinary city life. Eventually, she ventures out in a clear protective suit and follows him to a restaurant. When she sees him with another woman, she removes the suit and collapses. The video ends with her back inside the enclosure, sharing a quiet, ambiguous smile with the man.

Lyrics

In the bat of an eye...
You already think about yourself
And I don't believe all the lies coming out of my mouth...
Try to forget all the things that I did to myself and in time I see it fading

One of these these things just doesn't belong here
And look at that girl
Oh, I just don't belong here
And look at that girl

Aphrodite tonight...
She's lifting up her dress and child
Her stomach was so tight...
