Synopsis

Bananarama perform "Only Your Love" inside a stylized studio environment combining the look of a train carriage with a jungle gym. Sara Dallin, Keren Woodward, and Jacquie O'Sullivan move through the geometric set alongside male dancers, with the action cut together with silhouette shots against brightly colored backdrops. Additional performance scenes place the trio at the front of a locomotive-like structure, where sunglasses, oversized dresses, and carefully staged poses reinforce the video's playful, fashion-led visual style.

Factoids & Trivia

• "Only Your Love" was released in July 1990 as the first single from the Pop Life era, although the album itself followed in 1991.

• The song marked Bananarama's break from their long association with the Stock Aitken Waterman production team. Youth produced the track and co-wrote it with Sara Dallin and Andy Caine.

• The record's rhythm and repeated "woo woo" vocal accents reference The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil." After Bananarama performed the song on his television show, Jonathan Ross jokingly thanked The Rolling Stones.

• Jacquie O'Sullivan appears in the video alongside Dallin and Woodward. She had joined Bananarama in 1988 following Siobhan Fahey's departure.

• Compared with many earlier Bananarama promos, the choreography involves notably closer physical interaction between the group and the male dancers.

• The single version was remixed from the album recording, with several additional mixes issued, including the Milky Bar mix and versions credited to Youth and Thrash.
