Synopsis

Set against a bleak industrial wasteland, the video moves through a feverish collage of disturbing and surreal images. Pigs wander through the dirt, a woman flashes a mouthful of bloody teeth, and uniformed soldiers pull down an illuminated cross. Children handle animals, masked figures and dead mannequins appear, and scenes of ritualistic violence are intercut with Death in Vegas performing. Rather than following a conventional narrative, the video builds an unsettling vision of war, decay, repression and grotesque spectacle.

• "Dirt" first appeared as a single in 1996 and was included on Death in Vegas' 1997 debut album, "Dead Elvis."
