Synopsis

David Guetta and Kid Cudi spend the day wandering through Miami before joining a crowded nightclub party. The video mixes street footage, brightly lit dance-floor scenes, and deliberately absurd visual jokes, including a bizarre visit to a hair salon. Its central gimmick is the unseen, apparently nude camera crew: the crew members appear only as reflections in windows, mirrors, and polished surfaces, with censorship bars and song lyrics covering strategically placed areas. The playful concept turns a straightforward party video into a cheeky exercise in visual misdirection.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was filmed in Miami on January 4, 2010, with scenes shot along Biscayne Boulevard and inside the Nocturnal nightclub.

• Fans were invited to take part in the nightclub sequence, giving the party footage the feel of a genuine club event rather than a closed studio set.

• The video's main joke relies on reflections. Nude models operated the cameras, but viewers see them only in mirrors, windows, metal surfaces, and other reflective objects. Censorship graphics are used as part of the visual gag.

• A super-clean version was prepared for public settings, removing or altering the more suggestive imagery.

• One of the video's stranger comic moments takes place in a Franck Provost salon, where stylists treat bald clients with the same exaggerated care normally associated with hairdressing.

• Guetta wears Reebok Pumps during the video, adding a distinctly late-2000s sneaker-culture detail to the otherwise glossy Miami setting.

• The collaboration grew out of the artists meeting while appearing in the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" video. According to Guetta, that encounter led quickly to the recording of "Memories."

• The official video was released in February 2010 alongside the song's campaign as the fourth single from Guetta's album "One Love."
