Synopsis

Chris Martin walks alone through London's nighttime streets, passing tunnels, bridges, and illuminated landmarks as "Fix You" slowly builds around him. The solitary journey shifts into a determined run when the electric guitar enters, carrying him from the city to Bolton's Reebok Stadium. There, he joins Coldplay onstage for the song's emotional climax, surrounded by a singing crowd and bursts of light. The video closes with Martin thanking the audience and wishing them goodnight.

• The stadium footage was recorded during Coldplay's concerts at Bolton's Reebok Stadium on July 4 and 5, 2005. These shows were the band's first stadium performances.

• Concertgoers served as the video's extras. The production reportedly required two takes on each concert day.

• Martin's London route includes Tooley Street near London Bridge station, tunnels around King's Cross and St Pancras, and Waterloo Bridge.
