Synopsis

Project 86 perform "The Spy Hunter" in a dark, theatrical video that turns the song's rebellion against corrupt power into exaggerated pulp spectacle. The band plays amid stark industrial imagery as vocalist Andrew Schwab adopts the role of an embattled figure facing violent retribution. The climax delivers an intentionally comic shock: Schwab is blasted by a cannon and ends in the same wounded pose depicted on the cover of Songs to Burn Your Bridges By.

• The video was included on The Nail DVD (Tooth & Nail Video Volume 9), a compilation released in 2004.

• It was later added as a bonus feature to Subject to Change: The Making of ...And the Rest Will Follow, the band's 2005 documentary DVD.

• The closing image deliberately recreates the album-cover artwork for Songs to Burn Your Bridges By, including the striking wound-through-the-torso pose.
