Synopsis

Good Charlotte begin as a struggling rock band playing to an indifferent crowd in a nearly empty Baltimore bar. After giving up music, they take supermarket jobs in oversized food costumes, but their fortunes change when a record executive spots them. Rebranded as The Food Group, they become hugely successful, only to see their fame collapse under a series of absurd scandals involving arrests, violence, a controversial encounter, and lip-syncing. In the end, they abandon the costumes and return to their roots.
