Synopsis

Avril Lavigne performs "Nobody's Fool" onstage in front of a packed arena audience. The concert video captures the singer delivering the assertive Let Go track with her guitar and band, emphasizing the song's live energy rather than presenting a separate storyline. Rapid cuts between Lavigne, the musicians, and the crowd underline the communal feel of the performance, while the staging reflects the direct, youthful pop-rock presentation that defined her early-2000s live shows.

Factoids & Trivia

• "Nobody's Fool" is presented as a live performance video rather than a conventional narrative music video.

• The performance comes from Lavigne's first concert DVD, *My World*, which was recorded at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York, on May 18, 2003.

• The Buffalo concert was filmed during the Try to Shut Me Up Tour and took place on the closing night of the tour's five-week North American run.

• "Nobody's Fool" appears as the second performance on the DVD's concert program, following "Sk8er Boi."

• *My World* was released in November 2003 and combined the full concert with backstage material, a photo gallery, previously released music videos, and a bonus live CD.

• The song itself is the eleventh track on Lavigne's 2002 debut album, *Let Go*. Lavigne co-wrote it with Peter Zizzo, who also produced the studio recording.

• The official online upload is commonly labeled as a music video, but its source is the live concert footage from *My World*.
