Synopsis

Gorillaz perform in a bleak, wooded landscape as Murdoc and 2D encounter an army of undead, mutant apes emerging from the ground. The creatures swarm around the band and launch into a chaotic dance before a supernatural force disrupts the spectacle. Blending Jamie Hewlett's distinctive character designs with computer-generated environments, the video turns the song's laid-back hip-hop groove into a surreal horror-comedy spectacle, introducing Gorillaz as a band that exists somewhere between animation, music and mythology.

• Released in 2001, "Clint Eastwood" was the first Gorillaz single and one of the earliest major showcases for the band's virtual performers.
