Synopsis

In a stark, otherworldly waiting room, figures appear trapped between life and death as an ominous presence moves among them. The video gives "Limbo" a metaphysical setting, balancing ritualistic movement, stylized performance and a strong contrast between darkness and bursts of color. Rather than presenting a conventional narrative, it creates the feeling of a suspended afterlife, where the characters seem to await judgment, release or passage into another world.

• The video premiered online on September 19, 2013, shortly before "Limbo" was released as the first single from the album *Afterlife*.
