Synopsis

The "Backlines" video shrinks Stars into a miniature clockwork band performing on a tiny stage. Amy Millan, who sings lead on the track, fronts the group as the small-scale performers play amid toy-like military vehicles, dinosaurs, and a Godzilla-style monster. The playful diorama setting turns the band into a miniature spectacle, matching the song's energetic pulse while giving the clip a whimsical, handmade visual identity.
