Synopsis

Colin Stetson performs alone in a deserted Montreal underpass, surrounded by darkness, concrete and winter stillness. The camera begins at a distance and steadily moves toward him as he plays his saxophone, turning the performance into a tense, almost ghostly encounter. There is no narrative or conventional action; the video relies on the stark location, the slow approach and Stetson's intense physical performance. His breath, movements and instrument gradually dominate the frame, matching the track's uneasy, otherworldly atmosphere.

• The video was filmed at 3 a.m. in sub-zero temperatures in a Montreal underpass near Constellation Records' headquarters.

• It was recorded as a one-take performance, with the camera slowly approaching Stetson on a deserted sidewalk.

• Stetson performed the piece live without loopers, pre-recorded tracks or post-production musical additions.

• The track's layered sound was created in real time through circular breathing, valvework and vocalizations through the saxophone's reed.

• Despite its title, this is not a conventional remix. Stetson reinterpreted and replayed Bell Orchestre's composition as a solo horn performance.
