• The official video was released in 2013, ahead of the song's June 14 release on Sony Records.

• "Chameleon Life" was written during a freezing January in Ireland, when Daithi and Ian Ring were missing summer, festivals, and the feeling of traveling with friends. They deliberately built the song around bright, summery chords.

• The title refers to adapting to changing circumstances. Raye connected the idea to her own experience as an Irish singer adjusting to life in London.

• The fiddle appearance is more than a visual novelty. Daithi has described the instrument as a central part of his production style, using it in place of some of the synth-led build-ups commonly associated with dance music.
