• The video surfaced in late May 2009, several months after "Home" appeared on Jake One's debut album, "White Van Music," released by Rhymesayers Entertainment on October 7, 2008.

• Jake One described the track as a tribute to Seattle. Its vocal lineup brings together several MCs connected to his local musical background: Vitamin D, C-Note, Maneak B and Ish.

• Sir Mix-A-Lot appears in the clip with an orange Lamborghini. The sequence knowingly echoes the car-centered imagery associated with his earlier Seattle anthem "Posse on Broadway."
