Timati feat. Grooya & Timbaland and LALALAND - Not All About the Money

Music Video

Wiki

Synopsis

Timati and his crew move through a stylized world of luxury cars, private aircraft, cash, glamorous women, and armed criminals. After a robbery, the action shifts to an aircraft hangar, where the performers appear amid the spoils and the tension continues to build. The video's flashy, exaggerated portrait of excess eventually gives way to a change of heart: Timati abandons the weapon in his hand, suggesting that status, violence, and money are not the only things that matter.

Factoids & Trivia

  • Released in 2012, the track was the first single from Timati's album "Swagg."
  • The collaboration brings together Russian rapper Timati, American producer and performer Timbaland, vocalist Grooya, and the dance act La La Land.
  • The official clip was issued in multiple edits, including a version connected with the DJ Antoine versus Mad Mark remix.
  • Production credits associated with the video include producer Korneliya Polyak, with Troy Smith and Yuri Kokoshkin credited for cinematography.
  • The clip deliberately leans into familiar rap-video imagery - cash, luxury vehicles, private aviation, nightlife, and criminal bravado - before undercutting that fantasy with its closing gesture.
  • Several expensive and distinctive vehicles appear in the production, including a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a 1952 Chevrolet, a Ford Crown Victoria, and a Ford E-350.
