Synopsis

A lone commuter enters an unfamiliar city and gradually falls into its pulse. As streets, buildings, traffic and crowds shift around him, the city's mechanical rhythm begins to shape his movements and perception. What starts as an encounter with an alien urban environment becomes a process of adaptation, with the traveler increasingly absorbed into the landscape. By the end, the boundary between person and metropolis has dissolved, turning the city into both setting and living force.

• Its visual language combines hand-drawn imagery with 3D computer animation. Festival materials classify the work as rotoscopy.

• The original Vimeo presentation identifies Equipo as responsible for the concept and animation. A later project listing connects the work with Dirk Koy's period as a partner at Equipo.
