Synopsis

"Bath Song" turns the bathtub into a private refuge. A figure retreats behind a closed door and luxuriates in warm water, steam and solitude, treating the bathroom like a small kingdom. The comfort gradually becomes a form of isolation, as the outside world remains at a distance. When the plug is pulled and the water drains away, the spell ends. Wrapped in a towel, the bather leaves the room and faces the uncertainty of open space again.

Factoids & Trivia

• The video was produced by the film group Motion Pikczer and features Alicja Kalinowska, Waclaw Mitoraj, Kuba Mitoraj, Monika Opiola, Maciej Maciejewski, Adrian Kaca and Katarzyna Wozniak.

• "Bath Song" was released as part of Poprzytula's debut album, "Pobudzik," issued in 2013 by Antena Krzyku. The track runs for just under four minutes.

• Poprzytula was formed by Alicja Kalinowska and Kuba Mitoraj, who were also associated with the project Bipolar Bears. Their music was described at the time as electronic and alternative pop, drawing on contrasting and unpredictable musical styles.

• The official video appeared online in late April 2013, shortly before the release of "Pobudzik," giving the song an early visual identity during the album's launch period.

• The song's English lyrics frame bathing as both comfort and retreat. Images of warm water, a closed door, a towel and the final drain make the video's central domestic setting function as an emotional space rather than merely a backdrop.
