Synopsis

A group of friends slip into a surreal, out-of-body adventure as the ordinary world gives way to floating bodies, dreamlike spaces, and altered states of perception. Gravity appears to lose its hold, while Egyptian-inspired imagery and hallucinatory transformations turn the journey into a strange, euphoric fantasy. As the music builds, the travelers move further from reality, eventually encountering a demonic-looking figure amid the video's playful mixture of sensuality, mysticism, and psychedelic house imagery.

• The official video was uploaded on August 7, 2013, several weeks before Hot Natured's debut album, "Different Sides of the Sun," arrived in September.

• "Isis (Magic Carpet Ride)" features vocals from The Egyptian Lover, the influential Los Angeles electro and hip-hop artist whose presence connects Hot Natured's modern house production with early-1980s West Coast dance music.
