Synopsis

The video follows an unnamed captive who breaks free from an office controlled by heavily armed agents. Shot entirely from his point of view, the escape quickly turns into a frantic assault involving hand-to-hand combat, firearms, explosives, a hostile dog and a pursuit through the building and surrounding streets. The hero fights his way toward a mysterious teleportation device while the action grows increasingly graphic and chaotic, ending the "Insane Office Escape" story with the intensity of a first-person shooter.

Factoids & Trivia

• "Bad Motherfucker" is a sequel to the 2011 video for "The Stampede," also known as "Insane Office Escape." The new video begins immediately after the earlier clip's cliffhanger.

• The entire video was shot with a GoPro Hero 2. Because there were no playback facilities or monitors on set, scenes had to be choreographed, filmed, reviewed and then reworked.

• The dog sequence combined a trained attack dog with a stuffed stand-in. The dummy was packed with approximately 12 kilograms of bricks for the window stunt.

• A blank round struck the left side of the frontman's face during a take in which he played one of the gunmen. He later said that the resulting numbness lasted about a week and left him with ringing in one ear.

• The video also served as branded content for Russian vodka company NEFT, which agreed to support a larger sequel after seeing the band's earlier POV video.

• Its viral success helped lead to the feature film "Hardcore Henry," which expanded the same first-person action concept into a full-length movie.

• The video's graphic violence briefly caused problems on YouTube after its release, but it was restored soon afterward.
