Synopsis

There is no conventional storyline in "Can't Kill Us." Instead, the video presents a relentless stream of surreal digital and fluid imagery: dark liquid forms, metallic surfaces, ink-like clouds, particles, and abstract structures that swell, fracture, and transform in time with the track. The imagery moves between organic and mechanical textures, giving the song a sense of scale, pressure, and unstoppable momentum. Its visual language is less about characters or events than about translating the track's aggressive energy into motion, texture, and light.

• The video was released in December 2013, ahead of The Glitch Mob's second studio album, *Love Death Immortality*, which arrived on February 11, 2014.

• The visuals were created by digital artist Mike Winkelmann, better known as beeple. The collaboration was part of the album's broader visual campaign, in which the tracks were paired with videos made by different artists.

• Organic materials were an important visual theme across the album's videos. For "Can't Kill Us," the production used simulations and imagery inspired by ferrofluid, ink, and water.

• The video avoids live-action performance footage and concentrates entirely on abstract motion design. That choice makes the sound itself the apparent driving force behind the changing forms.

• The track later appeared in the trailer for *Sin City: A Dame to Kill For*, which helped associate its heavy electronic sound with the film's violent, stylized noir atmosphere.

• A later fan-made visual treatment, created by Ian Frederick, became notable after The Glitch Mob shared it through their official channels. That version uses particle, smoke, and fluid simulations and is often encountered alongside the original beeple video.
