Synopsis

A costumed Lord Quas and his girlfriend move through a strange, street-level crime story shaped by the song's paranoid lyrics. Their encounter with two gangsters escalates into trouble with the police, turning Quasimoto's complaints about harassment and criminal misadventure into a playful live-action vignette. The homemade-looking production embraces the character's cartoonish design, mixing rough-edged gangland imagery, deadpan performances, and absurd humor. Rather than presenting Quasimoto as an untouchable animated icon, the video places him directly inside the low-class conspiracy he describes.

• The video was made for Stones Throw Records' 15th anniversary video contest, which invited filmmakers to create new visuals for songs from the label's catalog.

• Stones Throw ranked the entry No. 4 in its contest results. The label specifically praised the Lord Quas costume and noted that it had taken 11 years for the character to receive such a convincing on-screen interpretation.

• The live-action cast includes Maiken Rye as Quasimoto, Camilla Vik as Quas' girl, Jonathan Castro and Hakan Hossler as gangsters, and Kristian Skyrud and Mats Silberg as police officers.
