Synopsis

The video takes the song title literally, opening with extreme close-ups of natural textures that resemble abstract landscapes or parts of the human body. Blades of grass become towering forms, while water droplets on leaves appear oversized and otherworldly. As the camera gradually pulls back, the images reveal their ordinary origins, moving between nature and the body. The visual progression turns perception into the central subject: details can be beautiful, strange or misleading when viewed without the complete picture.

• The official video was released on July 2, 2014, ahead of "Looking Too Closely" becoming the lead single from Fink's album *Hard Believer* on July 8.

• The production was filmed in Berlin during a single shooting day and was made by Wolf & Lamm Productions.

• The video's concept deliberately plays with scale and incomplete information. Its creators described the approach as showing small elements of natural surroundings through a microscope-like perspective before revealing the larger image.
