Synopsis

The video begins in a rigid, geometric world governed by repetition and strict visual order. An errant worker breaks from the routine, triggering a revolt against the system around him. As the rebellion spreads, the controlled environment is transformed by increasingly fluid movement, expressive forms, and bursts of vivid color. The narrative moves from monochrome-like uniformity toward a chaotic, imaginative climax, turning the video's own animation style into the force that disrupts the established order.

• BINARY is identified as a London dance-rock outfit, and "G.O.D." was released as an animated music video in 2013.

• The concept reportedly came from an idea that surfaced during Nicos Livesey's attempts to fall asleep. He wrote the idea down and developed it into a story built around atmosphere, routine, and a sudden transformation.

• The production took approximately eight weeks from storyboarding through completion.

• The video's central creative idea was to make animation itself the climax. Its visual language therefore changes dramatically as the story progresses, moving from rigid geometric imagery into more unruly and colorful animation.

• The final section was hand-drawn. Blanca Martinez de Rituerto and Joe Sparrow are credited with the lead 2D and 3D animation.
