Synopsis

Toro y Moi spends a languid day drifting through an exaggerated luxury fantasy. Riding through the countryside with a glamorous woman, he stares into the camera with detached intensity, pauses beside the water, and arrives at a sleek modern house. The mood shifts between seduction and boredom as hot-tub lounging, sunset scenery, bold fashion, and psychedelic projections surround him. The journey ends with Bundick walking toward a private plane, completing the video's deliberately over-the-top portrait of romance, status, and cool indifference.

• The video was released on December 12, 2012, ahead of *Anything in Return*, which arrived on January 22, 2013. "So Many Details" served as the album's first single.

• The production was shot on Kodak 35mm film with anamorphic lenses. The creative team wanted the footage to feel like a genuine feature film rather than a conventional music video.

• The visual concept intentionally exaggerates the song's luxurious, hyperbolic lifestyle. Its stated influences included 1990s rap videos and European art-house cinema from the 1970s and 1980s.
