Synopsis

A young farm girl leaves her rural home and wanders into a strange, dreamlike landscape. As she moves through fields, forests and open countryside, she encounters groups of masked, scarecrow-like figures that appear both threatening and strangely protective. The figures follow her, vanish and reappear, turning her journey into an eerie coming-of-age passage. With its stark scenery, measured pacing and surreal imagery, the video gives "Crystalfilm" the atmosphere of a Scandinavian folk tale filtered through a mysterious, cinematic dream.
