• Luka is played by Jason Cerbone, who later became known for playing Jackie Aprile Jr. on *The Sopranos*.

• Vega recalled that the production initially gave the child actor a prosthetic black eye. She objected to it, feeling that the effect was too obvious and heavy-handed, and asked for it to be removed.
