Synopsis

Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, and Blue Raspberry gather around a detailed plan for a criminal operation. The video frames their plotting with tense street imagery, group meetings, and close-up performance shots, giving the track a cinematic crime-film atmosphere. As the crew moves toward the job, the narrative builds through a series of near misses and ominous preparations. Just as the heist appears ready to reach its conclusion, the screen cuts to black with the message "The Saga Continues..."

Factoids & Trivia

  • The video was released in 1995 alongside Raekwon's debut album, *Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...* It promoted "Glaciers of Ice," a track featuring Ghostface Killah and Masta Killa.
  • The song appeared as the B-side to the "Criminology" single, despite becoming one of the most recognized tracks associated with the album.
  • The video's central heist setup matches the mafioso-film atmosphere that runs through *Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...*. The plan is deliberately left vague, emphasizing mood and suspense over a clearly explained plot.
  • The closing "The Saga Continues..." title card gives the video an unresolved ending and reinforces the album's serialized, cinematic presentation.
  • RZA produced the track. Its eerie arrangement includes additional vocals by Blue Raspberry and an appearance by 60 Second Assassin of Sunz of Man.
  • Blue Raspberry's vocal contribution came from an impromptu studio recording of Patti LaBelle's "Over the Rainbow." RZA captured her singing and incorporated the performance into the finished track.
  • The opening Clarks conversation was recorded informally in a car using a portable DAT recorder. The skit reflected Raekwon and Ghostface Killah's interest in customizing and dyeing their shoes.
  • "Glaciers of Ice" received music-video exposure during the 1995 release cycle, including playlisting on The Box.
