Pennywise's "Homesick" video combines stark performance footage with a disturbing narrative about gun violence. A young man retreats into isolation, shaves his head, obtains a firearm, and ultimately kills another person. The story is intercut with black-and-white close-ups of Jim Lindberg, images of guns and bodies, and onscreen statistics tracking firearm deaths in different countries. Rather than presenting violence as spectacle, the clip builds toward an explicitly cautionary message about the human cost of America's gun culture.
