Synopsis

Heather Nova moves through a dreamlike landscape centered on a lake, then continues into the interior of a house. The video combines images of her walking and appearing in the waterside setting with direct performance shots, giving the song a reflective, slightly surreal visual mood. Rather than presenting a conventional narrative, it uses the contrast between open natural space and enclosed domestic surroundings to mirror the song's emotional tension and sense of longing.
