Synopsis

Enigma's "The Rivers of Belief" moves between two contrasting worlds: medieval Europe, evoked through crusade-like imagery, and rural India, where a young boy runs toward and enters a yellow river. Images of Michael Cretu appear among these scenes, while the editing connects religious history, ritual, landscape, and personal searching without forming a conventional narrative. The result is a dreamlike visual meditation on belief, built around recurring images of water, movement, and spiritual passage.
