Synopsis

A strange alien rider travels along a rocky coastline and arrives at a cave-like bar, where he spots a female alien. When her companion gets in the way, the rider uses a laser weapon to eliminate him before escaping with the woman on horseback. The surreal science-fiction storyline is intercut with Billy Ocean performing inside a glowing pyramid-shaped hologram. The video's elaborate fantasy imagery contrasts sharply with the song's straightforward romantic lyrics, making it one of the more unusual pop promos of the mid-1980s.
