Synopsis

Mobb Deep and Nas present a glossy, Scarface-inspired vision of street success. The video opens with the rappers arriving at a tropical luxury estate, surrounded by palm trees, a pool, expensive cars, boats, and bikini-clad women. Havoc performs around the villa, Prodigy takes his verse aboard a speeding motorboat, and Nas delivers the hook and closing verse. The three artists later appear together outside the mansion, turning the setting into a visual statement of wealth, power, and ownership.

• The video premiered in September 1999 through MTV's "Making the Video," which featured behind-the-scenes footage before the finished clip was shown.

• Its luxury-resort imagery deliberately echoes the world of *Scarface*, matching the song's use of Giorgio Moroder's "Scarface Cues." Havoc later explained that he discovered the sample while rewatching the film and searching for another section of its score.

• "It's Mine" was the second Mobb Deep single to draw from *Scarface*. The duo had previously sampled the film's music on "G.O.D. Pt. III."
