Curve's "Chinese Burn" sets Toni Halliday against a stark, confrontational visual world where she projects control, menace, and cool detachment. The performance footage is intercut with scenes involving Dean Garcia and several men whose fascination with Halliday gradually turns into unease. • The video was made during Curve's return after a mid-1990s hiatus. "Chinese Burn" was the first single from the band's 1998 album *Come Clean*, and its harder electronic sound marked a more aggressive phase for the group.
