Synopsis

Wyclef Jean arrives at a nightclub in a white leisure suit, accompanied by a woman, and quickly turns the evening into a playful dance spectacle. After Pras interrupts the pair, the two men take their rivalry outside, where a street-corner dance-off unfolds with John Forte and other performers joining the celebration. Styled as a colorful, comic tribute to disco culture and Saturday Night Fever, the video mixes swagger, choreography, and the Refugee Allstars' communal energy.

• Released in 1997, the video promoted "We Trying to Stay Alive," the first single from Wyclef Jean's debut solo album, *The Carnival*.
