Factoids & Trivia

• "Touched" was released in 1998 as the second single from VAST's debut album, Visual Audio Sensory Theater. Its video received MTV exposure and helped turn the song into the band's best-known recording.

• The song incorporates elements of "Pilentze Pee," performed by the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir. The choral sample is a key part of the track's otherworldly atmosphere.

• "Touched" gained additional exposure through its use in the surfing documentary Step into Liquid. It was also heard in the trailer for The Beach, although it did not appear on that film's official soundtrack.
