Synopsis

Hootie & the Blowfish are presented as sports-world celebrities in a playful mock-broadcast built around ESPN's SportsCenter. The band members compete and interact with professional athletes across football, basketball and golf settings, while sportscasters deliver straight-faced commentary on their unlikely athletic exploits. Darius Rucker shares the spotlight with Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, and the video's fast-paced editing, sports graphics and celebrity cameos turn the band's easygoing pop-rock hit into a lighthearted sporting event.
